Today, I have embarked upon using www.blogger.com as a new host for my blogs. My blog on the Leamington United Church website under news was my own design, but it was on the suggestion of our Website's creator that I use the above source as a host and link it to our website, so today I am embarking upon something new. Hope it all works out.
I have never considered myself any kind of a computer expert. I was used to using the internet and email just like everyone else, but it wasn't until I came to Leamington that I started to realize how effective a website can be. A website though, needs daily attention. There is nothing worse than a bulletin board that contains posters and information of events that have past. Our website is the same, so we have to keep it up to date and fresh if anyone is going to pay attention to it.
Even a church has to utilize the most up to date methods of communication in presenting its message. It's time Leamington United Church utilized the technology available to us. Afterall that's probably where perspective spiritual seekers will be found.
